After riding the rebuilt Turboliner up to Rensselaer, I found the other two completed RTL III sets at the nearby maintenance facility. The trainset in front was the third to be completed, and never ran an inch in revenue service. These trains currently reside in Bear, DE following a protracted legal battle between Amtrak and the state of New York. |
